Medical Insurance

Depending on location, eligible employees may select medical coverage from a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), or from a Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO, similar to an HMO). Dental Insurance

Transamerican Auto Parts offers two dental plan options at most locations-DHMO and a PPO plan. Plans include coverage for preventative care, major and restorative care. Call Aetna Dental Member Services at (877)238-6200 for more information.


When you enroll in a medical or dental plan, you'll save on eye exams, eyeglasses, contact lenses and solution, LASIK and other eye care services and accessories through Aetna Vision Discount. There are a broad range of services offered by participating independent locations as well as national chains. All you need to do is show your medical or dental card at the participating location. Paid Time Off

Transamerican Autoparts realizes the importance of creating a balance between work and personal life. To work at the highest ability, employees need to take time away from their job for rest, recreation, and important personal matters. To accommodate those needs, Transamerican Autoparts provides a generous time-off program that includes vacation, holiday, and other time-off opportunities.

Vacations

Vacation time is typically used to get a complete break from work to refresh yourself and to pursue enjoyable activities. It may also be used for any personal reason that requires you to be absent from work. Vacation hours are earned biweekly or per pay period. The amount of hours earned depends on the number of years of service: (Please see Personnel Policy Handbook for more details) {Section 15}

Sick

Sick time is typically used when you are sick and unable to work. It may also be used for medical and dental appointments. You are credited six (6) sick days generally on the first business day in January each year. If you are unable to report to work due to illness or injury, you must notify your manager before the schedule start of your shift. (Please see Personnel Policy Handbook for more details) {Section 9}

Holidays

All regular full and part time employees are eligible for paid Holiday time off immediately. Please remember that to qualify for holiday pay; an employee must work on both his last scheduled workday before the holiday and his first scheduled workday after the holiday. The company will observe the following holidays in 2017. (Please see Personnel Policy Handbook for more details) {Section 16}
